Strategically located in the heart of Sitka's working waterfront and historical Katlian district, the Fisherman's Quay offers competitively-priced moorage, storage, dock and retail space to marine-oriented businesses and individuals. We currently serve five commercial tenants and over 100 mini-storage locker units. The location and amenities of the Fisherman’s Quay are excellent for businesses oriented toward fleet and passenger services. In 2001, the Fisherman's Quay management team adopted a long-range redevelopment plan that will accommodate businesses whose customers are seeking outdoor adventures and unusually convenient access to the natural beauty and history of Southeast Alaska. The Fisherman’s Quay buildings are former fish cannery and processing warehouses dating from 1916 and 1926. Alaskan historical archives have many wonderful photographs of the buildings at use during their processing heyday. In keeping with our new redevelopment mission, the Fisherman's Quay is undergoing numerous renovations that mindfully restore the building's fascinating history as a fish cannery operation during the early and mid-1900's. |
